Will is passionate about all forms of arts – from paintings to music to standup comedy to your Instagram accounts, he loves ‘em all. Having lived his life in China, Singapore, New York, London and most recently Hong Kong, he believes that art should transcend languages, cultures, and most importantly social classes, and that art is for everybody – regardless of your skin tone, black, white, yellow, or green (although if you’re green, he will call an ambulance!), and he’s ready to share some interesting things with you. Rest assured that Will’s going to make your tour fun, relaxed, but also deeply insightful. Also be sure that your awkward silence will never stop him from attempting new jokes.
Having practised painting (though as a pure amateur) since the age of 3, Longyi is always deeply impressed about how art helps shape one’s attitudes towards life. She graduated from Peking University, Waseda and LSE with degrees in International Relations and Liberal Arts. With such a diverse background, Longyi’s particularly interested in contemporary art—not only for how it differs from the forms of art before, but also for its fascinating interactions with today’s society. A tour with her will provide you with an informative pack of knowledge, and also inspire you to rethink about art.
“Art refreshes our eyes from day to day routine.” Having studied in Hangzhou, HK and London, worked in different industries in HK and Singapore, Candy is a very curious and open-minded individual. She believes that modern and contemporary art possess the magic to energize our life. Follow her steps and experience how art evolves and relates to you.
Grown up in China, Julian was passionate about British movies and rock music since young. At the age of 18, he flew to France, experiencing a different life style, spending time in galleries and museums. He thinks art is about your taste more than the art itself. Julian currently lives in Hong Kong, taking photos, riding motorcycles, drinking whiskey… all the old-school and beautiful things. If there is no art in our life, humans become boring beings. His conclusion is: art you have seen or collected makes part of your life.
